I just started this MSP weblog and it doesn’t get as many pageviews as my Prince2 weblog but the numbers are raising every day. I’m a little bit curious if you are on this weblog because you’re preparing yourself for a MSP exam, or that you are interested in MSP as a way to manage programmes. So fill in the Poll and let me know.

Last week I’ve started a programme management course called “Managing successful programmes”. The reason to do this? It felt natural to do this course in order to assure my obtained Prince2 experience and my business experience running programmes and projects.

At my department I see a lot of programmes, but I’m not sure if they all use a kind of best practise or methodology like MSP. I just see a lot of experienced programme managers having their own approach. That’s where I see my primary added value: not as a specialist on the matter, but as the process improver or quality assuror.

In order to give information and help other people around I’ve created this web log: a place to structure my thoughts and to share my view on programme management and MSP.

Feel free to join the discussion and don’t hesitate to comment. It’s all appreciated.
